IL-17主要由Th17型细胞产生,是目前已发现的30余种白细胞介素中的一员,按序号排在第17位。该家族包括6个成员配体(IL-17A ~ IL-17F)和5个受体(IL-17RA ~ IL-17RD和SEF)。IL-17是一种主要由活化的T细胞产生的致炎细胞因子,可以促进T细胞的激活和刺激上皮细胞、内皮细胞、成纤维细胞产生多种细胞因子,从而导致炎症的产生。
