血管内皮生长因子D(VEGF-D)，又名C-fos诱导的生长因子(FIGF)，是PDGF/VEGF家族中的一员，活跃在血管再生、淋巴管生成和内皮细胞生长中。该分泌蛋白经历一个复杂的蛋白水解成熟过程，形成可结合和活化VEGFR2、VEGFR3受体的多种加工形式。VEGF-D的结构和功能类似于VEGF-C。VEGF与多种类型的人类恶性肿瘤相关。在多种人类肿瘤的组织和患者的血清样本中发现VEGF-D是过表达的。另外，VEGF-D的表达与区域淋巴结转移发生率的升高有关。小鼠实验研究表明，产生VEGF-D蛋白的转基因肿瘤细胞可增强区域淋巴结转移。
