甲胎蛋白(AFP)是胚胎发育中由卵黄囊和肝脏产生的最主要的血浆蛋白。出生后其在血浆中的含量迅速下降,但在产前3个月已开始下降。通常在8-12个月后达到正常成人水平。通过母血或羊水测定孕妇的AFP含量,用于排查筛选异常发育。AFP在一些疾病中表达升高,包括脐疝、原发性肝细胞肝癌、神经管畸形、非精原细胞瘤、卵黄囊瘤和共济失调毛细血管扩张症等。
