蛋白质二硫键异构酶,又称脯氨酸4-羟化酶β亚基(P4HB)、细胞甲状腺激素结合蛋白(p55)和谷胱甘肽-胰岛素转氢酶,是一种外周膜蛋白,属于蛋白二硫键异构酶家族。它包含两个硫氧还蛋白结构域,催化二硫键的形成、断裂和重排。P4HB定位于淋巴细胞表面CD4富集区附近。在黑素小体组分中,P4HB可降低并激活HIV-1 gp120表面蛋白的融合特性,从而使HIV-1进入细胞。P4HB作为一种伴侣,抑制错误折叠蛋白的聚集。P4HB可能与其它分子伴侣参与了激素生物合成中TG前体的结构修饰。
