目前已经证实,NK细胞和CD8+T细胞拥有许多共同的抑制性受体,这些抑制性受体在他们的功能和表型特征分析中起着十分重要的作用。KLRG1(killer cell lectin-like receptor G1),杀伤性细胞凝集素样受体G1,就是其中一种抑制分子。目前研究发现,KLRG1在NK细胞和部分CD8+T细胞,以及一些肥大细胞和嗜碱性粒细胞中有较高水平表达。尽管KLRG1已经作为小鼠 CD8+T细胞衰老和终端效应的分化的关键指标,但是KLRG1在人类细胞中的功能仍不清晰。与小鼠相似,有研究表明,与KLRG1-的细胞相比,KLRG1+CD8+T细胞更易衰老,更弱的增殖能力。

截止目前,市面上还没有商业化试剂能用流式细胞术的方法检测KLRG1表达。但值得高兴的是,现在eBioscience通过弗赖堡大学Dr. Hanspeter Pircher研究出的克隆号为:13F12F2 and 13A2的抗体完美的解决了用流式细胞术的方法检测human KLRG1的标准。
