MIF 分子靶点综述

巨噬细胞游走抑制因子(MIF)是先天免疫的重要调节子。细菌抗原刺激白细胞释放MIF到血流中。循环的MIF结合其它免疫细胞上的CD74进而引发急性免疫反应,因此MIF是一种炎性细胞因子。此外,糖皮质激素也可刺激白细胞释放MIF。MIF通过抑制糖皮质激素的消炎效果来调节巨噬细胞在宿主防御中的功能。MIF是一种与类风湿关节炎严重程度相关的炎性介质。精神分裂症患者血浆中的MIF蛋白水平会升高,包括在疾病的早期阶段,但是这种现象的临床意义还未确定。MIF同样可诱导脓毒症过程中的心脏变化。另外,有证据表明,MIF产量和结肠癌的转移潜能之间存在一定关联。
