载脂蛋白AII (Apo A2)是人血浆高密度脂蛋白(HDL)中含量仅次于Apo A1的第二大载脂蛋白，是可交换载脂蛋白中亲水性最强的。Apo A2由肝和小肠合成，以单体或者二聚体形式存在于血浆中。Apo A2基因由4个外显子和3个内含子组成。 四个外显子编码5'端非翻译区、前肽、一个短N末端结构域和由可变数量的脂质结合双亲性螺旋构成的C末端结构域。 Apo A2可通过结合脂质来稳定HDL结构，并影响HDL代谢。Apo A2在脂质代谢和动脉粥样硬化中的作用展现了重要临床意义。Apo A2水平与动脉粥样硬化易感性、游离脂肪酸水平、体脂和胰岛素抵抗力的增加有关。
